Concert: “The Art of One Guitar”
A unique solo performance by guitarist and composer Peter Luha, showcasing the limitless sonic and emotional range of a single instrument. The show unfolds in three acts:
- Essence of Strings – pure solo guitar pieces revealing precision, tone and expression, featuring advanced techniques such as fingerstyle, percussive slap, tapping and fast picking.
- Looping Dimensions – live layering and rhythmic grooves built on stage, including selected sung pieces that expand the loop-based textures and dynamic build-up.
- Classics & Originals – virtuoso reinterpretations that are not suitable for looping, e.g. Tico Tico, Turkish March, Csárdás, Flight of the Bumblebee, plus selected originals (played with backing tracks).
Each concert adapts to the venue — from intimate acoustic rooms to festival stages — delivering a journey through imagination, technique and the soul of one guitar.

About Peter Luha
Peter Luha is an award-winning guitarist, composer and loop artist whose music blends virtuosic fingerstyle, percussive techniques and loop-based soundscapes into a distinctive solo performance. He has played more than 2500 concerts worldwide across Europe, the USA, Mexico and India, collaborated with Igudesman & Joo and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, and shared the stage with Dream Theater.
His solo album Viaje del Alma was nominated for Best Instrumental Album at the Independent Music Awards (USA). Peter is an official artist for Ibanez and Ortega Guitars and a sought-after workshop leader, known for inspiring guitarists of all levels. - Solo setup: guitar, vocal, flute and percussion — all routed through looper and multi-effects pedalboard.
- Main output: stereo mix out from pedalboard — 2× mono jack to FOH.
- On stage: 2× monitors (left/right), 1× mic stand, and 1× chair or stool.
- Basic stage lighting suitable for a solo performance.
- Stage area: minimum 3×2 m; setup and soundcheck are compact and fast.
