Peter Luha
Music has been with me since childhood. I started on the violin, later fell in love with other instruments (recorder, mandolin, ukulele, bass…), but the guitar eventually became my main voice. I love combining fingerstyle, tapping, slap, percussive playing and live looping into my own personal guitar language.
Over the years I’ve played more than 2500 shows across Europe, the USA, Mexico and India – from intimate solo concerts to festival stages and multimedia projects. Alongside performing I teach – from one-to-one online lessons to step-by-step video courses for players who want to grow at their own pace.
I’ve collaborated with projects such as Igudesman & Joo, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Tonkünstler Orchestra and performed with prog-rock band Persona Grata at Progressive Nation at Sea and as support for Dream Theater. My music also appears in the award-winning animated project On The Road.
